How to Play Memory Sequence
Memory Sequence is a pattern memory game inspired by the classic Simon Says electronic game. Test how many colored squares you can remember in sequence as the pattern grows longer each round.
- Watch as the colored squares light up in a specific sequence
- After the sequence plays, repeat it by tapping the squares in the same order
- Each successful round adds one more step to the sequence
- Make a mistake and the game ends - try to beat your high score!
What's a Good Score?
Most people can remember 5-7 items in sequence, matching the average human working memory capacity. Reaching Level 10+ puts you in the top tier of memory performers. With practice, some people develop techniques to remember sequences of 15 or more items.
Fun Fact: The original Simon game was invented in 1978 by Ralph Baer and Howard Morrison. It became one of the most popular electronic games of the late 1970s and 1980s.
