How to Play 2048

2048 is an addictive number puzzle game where you slide tiles on a grid to combine them and create larger numbers. The goal is to reach the coveted 2048 tile, though you can keep playing to achieve even higher scores.

1. Swipe or use arrow keys to slide all tiles in one direction
2. When two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into one
3. Each move spawns a new tile (2 or 4) on the board
4. Plan ahead to avoid filling the grid and getting stuck

Strategy Tips

Keep your highest tile in a corner and build around it. Work in one or two primary directions to maintain control. The key to high scores is keeping large tiles together and creating chain reactions of merges.
